Shahid Khaqan Abbasi was born in Murree in a wealthy family. He get his early education in Karachi and then shifted to Murree. HE done his bachelors in electrical engineering from University of California, Los Angeles and done his masters in electrical engineering from George Washington University, USA. he was interested in aviavtion from his childhood because he was inspired by his father who was air commodore in the Pakistan Air Force. His father Khaqan Abbasi was also part of politics and was died in military incident. Shahid Khaqan Abbasi started his career as a politicain after his father death. He was elected first time in NA-50 from his father seat. Later on after forth victory from general election with the support of PML-N, he was appointed as chairman of Pakistan International Airline on his desired field, later on he was sent to jail after having issues with General Pervaiz Musharaf, His party chairman Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif was also sent to jail and later on overthrew from Pakistan.
Shaihd Khaqan Abbasi refused to have issued with General Musharaf. Nawaz Sharif get back to Pakistan in 2007 and support PPP in elections and after having massive seats victory PPP''s denied all PML-N support. In 2013, PML-N win with massive seats and appointed Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as Petroleum Minister. He served as Petroleum Minister for 4 years, He became 28th Prime Minister of Pakistan after disqualifiaction of Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif. He is also owner of Air Blue. Air Blue start functioning in 2003 under supervision of Shahid Khaqan Abbasi.
